Harper is 17 months old today. She's growing up too fast. Here is little bit on what she's been up to lately.
She loves to empty her pajama drawer every. single. day. One day she moved the pile from her room to the study to the kitchen and then to the living room. Another day she came riding down the hall with her pajamas piled on her riding toy.
She's also been into trying to jump lately.
She bends her knees and throws her arms up... and then steps off the chair.
She still loves to dance. Now she insists that you dance with her. She takes your hand and pulls you to where she is dancing. Her dancing is mostly turning in circles and waving her hands around. Music optional.
The taking your hand and pulling you to do something is driving me crazy. The other day she wanted me to pick up one of her blocks that was just laying on the floor. I wouldn't and told her to pick it up. She very dramatically acted like she couldn't reach it and kept grabbing my hand for me to. Seriously? Where on earth did she learn that?
She is very particular about things, including where she eats her snacks. Her morning snack {usually some of my banana} is eaten in front of the cabinets next to the pantry, and her afternoon snack {often pretzels} is eaten in a chair at the kitchen table.
She ate pistachios at Nani's house last weekend and loved them. She also had some M&Ms, and I think that might be the first time she's had any kind of chocolate. She liked the M&Ms okay, but she definitely preferred the pistachios.
We stopped at Chic Fil-a on the way to Longview and they were passing out free ice cream. I tried to give Harper some and she pushed my hand away {spoon + mushy food}. Oh well.
Her 2nd, 3rd, and 4th molars are coming in. That makes 12 teeth total. Only 8 more to go!
She's getting more hair. And curls!
She is totally fine with me dropping her off at Kid's Club at the gym. And apparently I'm not working out long enough because she's not even ready to leave when I go to pick her up!
Well, Harper woke up a few minutes ago. I love that she plays happily in her crib before and after her nap. I'm so lucky with this one.
