May

May has continued to be a very busy month!  It's hard to believe that it's already almost June!  Jason and I both took a full week off of work a couple weeks ago to travel to Charleston and then to Grapevine/Colleyville for Bryan & Tori's wedding, and we spent this weekend working on Harper's room.

Charleston
Charleston is a very charming city with so much history, beautiful architecture, homes, and iron gates and also delicious food!  The shrimp and grits and pecan pie at Magnolia's and the peanut butter pie at Poogan's Porch were to die for!  I have plans to look for a peanut butter pie recipe to try to make myself.  I have a lot of plans right now though...

Bryan & Tori's Wedding
After one day back at home (and a sad goodbye to Kellie), we drove to Grapevine for Bryan and Tori's wedding.  They had a very nice wedding and Tori looked beautiful!  We also enjoyed visiting with family and friends that we hardly ever see.

Memorial Weekend
This weekend has been no less busy.  Jason had Friday off in addition to Memorial Day and spent that day painting Harper's room.  Then on Saturday we finally got to meet my newest cousin, Madilyn, when my cousins Paul & Marlo stopped by for a quick visit and lunch.  We also had Harper's furniture delivered, put her crib together and hung her name on the wall (which was a lot harder than putting the crib together!).  I can't even begin to tell you how much fun Jason and I are having getting her room ready.  I didn't realize Jason would enjoy it as much as me!

@ 25 weeks
Sunday was spent cleaning house and running a ton of errands (one of which was to Bering's in Houston- love this place!  Jason and I both can't believe we haven't been there sooner!).  Jason's also been the handyman this weekend- repairing a broken valance for the blinds in Harper's room, repairing his Blu-ray player that was messed up when we tried to update it with new software, and right now he is replacing our garbage disposal.  No matter how much we get done, the list of things to-do just keeps growing!

I just noticed that your niece covered her eyes during the kiss - how funny - I missed that at the wedding!

I love the photos of the nursery. I think it was great to use the soothing taupe color. It looks so classy! I can't wait to see the bedding once it all gets put together!

Jenae- the picture was taken after the wedding, not during it. Allen (my nephew) is also covering his eyes. It was cute.
