Exciting news!

I decided to have an elective sonogram at 16 weeks so that we could find out the sex of our baby four weeks early.  Anyone that knows me knows how much I enjoy planning, but it's pretty hard to plan for a baby when you don't know the sex!  (Side note: the sonogram took place AT the doctor's office and not at some random ultrasound place.)  Anyway... Jason and I found out that we are having a little girl! We couldn't be more excited.  After the sonogram, we went to straight to a baby store and made our first purchase for our little girl.  I can't wait for all of the cute dresses and bows!

Here are a few pictures of our sweet little girl at 16 weeks, 1 day...

It's still so hard to believe that a little person is growing inside of me!  She measured 12 cm crown-to-rump (about 4.75 inches) today.  I can't wait to start feeling her move in the next few weeks!

We pray every night for "Baby Moody", and also for you both as you anticipate her healthy arrival!
